We would like to note that of the many troops in the Gulf... some are sons of our crew.
Let me know if there's others.

We are proud that we could serve... We are proud that our sons and daughters carry the torch now. 

Civilian Philip Schamp, son of Robert, now at Camp Liberty in Baghdad with the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Maj. Michael Sobkowski, son of Mike Sr. (667), XO of VMFA-115 is stationed at Al Asad, "Camp Cupcake" in the Western Al Anbar province, Iraq.
Mobilized near Tikrit, Iraq... Zak Armstrong, Army Reserve, 244th Engineer Combat Battalion, son of Don, 320 crew.
William Longworth ETC(SS) is currently serving as RCLCPO onboard USS HAMPTON SSN 767 / son of Michael, 667 crew.

Returned home safely...
Commander Chris “Gus” Ford has returned from a 2005 and 2007 combat cruise to Iraq aboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74), son of Jack Ford.
Gavin Hargraves AE3 USS NIMITZ  CVN 68 returned from his 2nd Persian Gulf Deployment, grandson of Abe Kern and son of Andrea Kern Hargraves CDR USN RET
SPC Nick Miller was serving in Baghdad, with the HHC 2/506th INF, 101st ABN DIV / son of Harry, 667 crew.
Capt. Sharon Spoon (USAF) was assigned at Camp Slayer in Baghdad. Daughter of 667 sailor Robert Schamp.
Specialist Justin Snodgrass, D Company, 3rd Battalion-502nd Regiment was with the 101st Airborne / son of Michael, 667 crew... Here's a recent pic of him in uniform... click
